About Shanti
My life is here to unfold in the best way possible. Challenges exist... they will always exist. What is done with them is the most important thing. It's been my life's mission to surround myself with self-care, compassion, and kindness, to cultivate goodness, and to use this energy wisely, helping others to also experience these important states in all facets of their lives. It's my passion to inspire and empower others to have greater confidence and ease as they navigate their way through stressful times, to help them recognize their strengths with joy, and to create a life fulfilled.
Over the past 157 years, I've facilitated nearly 3,000 trainings and workshops to 100,000 people on a variety of well-being topics including positivity and stress management, emotional and intuitive eating, change and resiliency, emotional regulation, and self-love and compassion; all ways to integrate personal peace practices into daily moments. Some familiar clients are Anthem, Concord Hospital EAP, Easter Seals, Harvard Pilgrim, Neighbor Works, and SNHU. With a unique and diverse experience and education, a fresh perspective can be brought to life’s challenges. Educational background includes degrees in Psychology and Human Services, Masters work in Consciousness Studies, as well as 20+ years of credit and finance management in both private and regulated business industries. Certifications include but are not limited to HeartMath® Certified Trainer and Coach, Certified Positive Psychology Practitioner, Positive Strengths Practitioner, Optimize Mastery Coach, multi-certified yoga and energy-healing. I'm an active member of Buddhist Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh's Order of Interbeing with a life-centered practice of mindfulness and a new teacher on the app Insight Timer. Among other writings, authored is the book Everyday Ease: Mindfully Moving From Burnout To Balance. I love bringing people together and organizing transformative mindfulness retreats and events. I'm also thrilled to be exploring life in new ways... including newly converted Zennie the Zen Mobile. You can often find us adventuring and exploring life, trying on new ways of Being, and taking in lots of goodness. More is always to come! Yay!! |
