ADULT GENTLE MINDFUL YOGA

Yoga is a wonderful way to release tensions, relax mind and body and renew into Spirit. At 8 limbs Holistic Health, LLC, all classes are gentle, concentrating on opening the body with breath so that tensions can flow out. We build strength in body and mind, paying attention to our experience as it is without judgment. Quieting our mind through directed awareness to our breath and body provides the space needed to recover and rejuvenate, to come back to our inner light. With meditation in motion, we bring back balance.

If you’ve never tried yoga, know that some important benefits are:
  • Reduces the physical effects of stress on the body including reducing blood pressure, heart rate, stress hormones, headaches, neck and shoulder tightness, lower back pain

Shamballa is a hands on energy healing technique that has been used to assist the bodys' own inner healing ability in order to obtain the optimal level of wellness. It is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is gentle and safe and used quite frequently in hospitals to speed recovery from pain and illness.

  • Relax the mind and body, relieving stress and anxiety
  • Relieve physical pain and muscle aches, speeding illness and injury recovery
  • Soothe emotional upsets and bring in a sense of peace and calm
  • Increase energy and stamina
  • Increase the sense of personal connectedness to self and others


CLASS PAYMENT OPTIONS
Yoga classes at 8 limbs Holistic Health are sold in Passes and the very reasonable rate of a 5 Class Pass for $60 or a 10 Class Pass for $115.  Passes expire in one year so lots of time to avoid the Drop-In rate of $15 per class (although regular weekly practice is best by far). Also, first Yoga class is free. Please see payment requirements for classes at other locations.

If you are a State of New Hampshire employee and/or SEIU Member, please speak to Shanti about the $150 Community Health Education Reimbursement (for Anthem HMO and POS plan) for the Yoga classes.
