Shanti Douglas
Shanti is an educator, personal productivity and attention facilitator, stress management coach, and practitioner of whole life balance. Her unique and diverse experience and education formulate a pathway to success that is not typically found in traditional methods. Working with mindful awareness from the inside out allows clients to achieve professional and personal balance and growth generated from inner strength and stability, not with external reliance.

Shortly after the birth of her third child in 2000, Shanti’s personal support systems shifted to more reflective traditions such as yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. This reconnection with self gave her the strength and fortitude as she met the challenges of single parenthood mixed with corporate career.

In 2007, Shanti left her corporate position in finance management at a global software company to open 8 limbs Holistic Health, LLC. Her ambition was to not only continue exploring her personal sense of self but to share these masteries with others. Knowing full well the stressors of modern business world, as well as the demands and needs of an active family life, Shanti seeks to share her unique personal knowledge, education, and experience in various wellness modalities with those of her corporate leadership skills to help client with both their personal and professional development.

Shanti has a background in Psychology, Human Services, is a member of Thich Nhat Hanh's Order of Interbeing, a certified yoga instructor, and Shamballa Reiki Healer.  Her business background includes 20+ years in credit and finance management in both private and regulated industries and includes several certifications such as FCIB Certified International Credit Professional, NACM Certified Business Associate, and NASD Series 6 & 7.

An authentic and happy life does not necessitate a separation between work and home, instead supporting growth and prosperity in each. Shanti shares practical, integrative and business-friendly tools and techniques that allow this unity, re-energizing and empowering others to live their fullest potential and benefitting the greater community.
